Judges Needed for Homeschool Speech & Debate Tournament PDF Print E-mail
On March 25 - 27, the Catalyst Speech and Debate Club of Montgomery, an affiliate of National Christian Forensics and Communications Association (NCFCA), will again host a Region 7 qualifying Speech and Debate tournament for homeschooled students at Taylor Road Baptist Church in Montgomery. The group needs parents to volunteer to judge. No experience is necessary!

Each round will take about 3 hours of your time. This will include a brief orientation about the events, the round itself, and time to complete your evaluations. Snacks and/or a light meal will be provided. Younger students who are able to sit quietly are welcome to watch the events.

To sign up to judge, please go to the website at www.judgeregistration. com.

With 10 separate speech events, and 2 different types of debate, they need about 500 judges for the tournament. Around 150 homeschooled students will be coming from Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee to compete in this tournament.

Feel free to forward this information to your friends and colleagues who might be interested in helping.
